Compliance and Condition Audits are essential for developing a planned maintenance approach particularly with respect to large, complex sites, providing a condition assessment of singular or multiple buildings.

They provide an opportunity to compare the condition of a building against statutory requirements and standards.  Furthermore, we can provide separate analysis pertaining to specific legislation; environmental obligations or mandatory legislation.

Legionella is a naturally occurring genus of pathogenic bacteria found in water systems that can cause potentially fatal infections if it is not quickly and effectively controlled and managed.  It is a legal requirement to demonstrate that risks are under control and also follow the monitoring guidelines outlined in ACoP L8.

As members of the Legionella Control Association, NDC are qualified to advise and assist your organisation in controlling the risk of Legionellosis.  We take a practical ‘hands on’ approach backed up by many years of experience in both large and small organisations. Our trained, competent Staff have a wealth of experience to advise clients on the risks associated with all water systems including: wet air conditioning systems, evaporative cooling towers and new installations.

To meet the requirements described in Article 9 of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), Europe, air conditioning systems with an output greater than 12kW require frequent inspections.

PUWER is the Provision and Use of Workplace Equipment Regulations which came into effect in 1998 and require Employers to carry out a risk assessment on all equipment prior to its use and subsequently at suitable periods.

PUWER regulations extend beyond CE marking requirements as they apply to use of the equipment in the workplace.
